Got my first rejected yesterday...from U of VA.

Today will interview with Towson

Waiting to hear from:

- Aleph

- Hartford International

- Towson

Have been accepted by the 6 others:

- U of Denver

- Missouri State

- Western Michigan

- Chicago Theological Seminary

- Athens State

- Academy for Jewish Religion, NY

Also, need to confirm back to Nouris today I'm good to speak with him next week.

And, am scheduled to speak with registrar at Chicago on Friday about possible line up of courses.

Nice that the Chicago woman, just from my input on application materials, early reached out to me to say she'd be happy to work with me.

That's the intent of my meeting with Nouris next week.

Hearing from Aleph will be helpful.

The relationship with Hebrew learning is still a pill, and an issue...would be necessary for Aleph, Towson, way so Academy for Jewish Religion.

Had not applied to Academy for Jewish Religion in CA, nor Naropa, nor California Institute of Integral Studies or National.  Some blocked me like Graduate Theological Seminary and Pacifica, based on being in MD, and relatedly, their not being authorized as places of virtual learning to enroll me.

This is a potential complication for Aleph...they too are not really authorized to enroll me, but they will, and have done this.  Also, they SAY they'll advise of my being accept by (near) Passover, or sooner.  The other program want 4/15 (at least the universities) so I should try to make that date work.

Separately, Evan's at home, ostensibly working his meds, trying to get a better spleep program going.

Betty's planning to retire near May.

We're planning a 2nd cruise in July

We have a reunion we're probably all going to in late August for over Labor Day

I'm doing substitute teaching, and might keep doing it with school....

Charlie, our dog, is about 12.

Adam & Evan are both married, and nearby.
